Accepting Him is the most important thing you will ever do in all eternity!
Living for God the way He asks us to is a very exciting and rewarding life to those who do the Word of God, not just hear it.
Jesus Christ is the only way to true peace and eternal life - no other.
We are all born into a world of darkness, born into a world filled with sin. We all have a sinful nature when born.
Father God created everything and is so holy (filled with Light) that He will not look upon darkness (wickedness).
God created us to have fellowship with Him and loves us more than we can imagine, but because of our wickedness we are separated from Him.
In comes Jesus - His only Son, whom God sent to be a perfect sacrifice (payment) for our sin.
The Blood of Jesus Christ was shed on the Cross to remove our separation from God.
God gives us a choice:
ACCEPT: Accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross for the payment of our sins and have an eternal home in Heaven with Him.
REJECT: Reject His selfless Sacrifice and live for ourselves, letting our pride separate us from God for all eternity in a real place called Hell.
Darkness: The more darkness you allow into your life, the more it controls you. It gets permission to work in your life and cause suffering - both now and ultimately for all eternity.
Light (Christ): The more one yields to Christ, the more peace, joy, and happiness one will have in this life and for all eternity.

1. Ask Jesus into Your Heart
Make Him your Lord and Savior.
2. Believe in the Sacrifice
Believe in the sacrifice that was made for you on the Cross.
3. Confess You Are a Sinner
Recognize that according to the Word of God, you are a sinner and need a Savior.
4. Repent of Your Sin
Turn from your wickedness and stop doing things that are against the Word of God.
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord."

You don't have to change your whole lifestyle right away. The more you focus on Christ, the more He will change your heart to desire the things of God.
Be Baptized
After you get saved, you need to be baptized as a public declaration of your faith.
Be Led by the Holy Spirit
This is the most important thing to be aware of and do after being saved. It makes a huge difference in your walk with Christ which is what many are missing out on and makes ones life filled with peace, joy, and exciting blessings from God!
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
